What has prompted me to build this web site is a result of my journey with my horse Basq'l. She is an 18 year old Arabian mare. When I got Basq'l she was under weight and she had been standing in a confined area for about an year and a half. She had very little muscle tone and she had (in my opinion) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Lejeune Photography
I myself suffer from back problems myself and have had issues with chronic pain so the two of us set out on a healing path together.

Because I did so much research I soon realized that there was no one central place that you could go to address alot of the questions that I had. I wanted answers on how to calm her down as she was hard to handle as well as how to get her weight up and how to build muscle tone. I borrowed alot of books from the library and set out on a quest to improve her life.

I believe information is power and there are alot of great companies on the Internet that can offer information and product selection that unless you researched it you would not know that those options exist. I do not believe that horses are just throw aways after a certain age! Unfortunately one of the main areas to go first on a horse are their joints.

In regards to holistic health care and joint maintenance for your equine friend buying from a on-line pharmacy offers you more options and information that what you would normally get from your vet. I have personal experience using remedies and prefer them to regular medication. Holistic remedies and supplements allow your horse to heal itself where veterinarian medications just medicate the problem and don’t address the cause Basq'l and her sign of the problem.
